Learn Guitar Theory App Reviews

This app is great if you never picked up a guitar before. My only wish is that there were more tabs to follow along with. All lessons are a great tool to become an avid player.

This is a good way to start learning. It is simple and you learn at your own pace. Helpful being able to jump back for a refresh.

Great way to start learning

Decent app for price.

Downloaded a few apps...some free some a few dollars. This was our favorite so far.

Its an okay app and good for beginners, but its not worth the money.

I teach music to new students and its always nice to have tools to offer them. This app is bare bones and could use some updating (for example their page on tuners which makes no mention of free tuner apps) but it does cover some important topics. Its laid out in a manageable format and if you did just one tab every day, you could be playing your first song in just a few days.

Havent had a chance to explore everything yet but like what I see so far. Lose one star for prompting me to rate so soon

Just started using this app a few weeks ago and like what Ive seen thus far. One thing that would be great would be a glossary to explain some terminology, rather than having to leave the app to search for it online.

Not slick but a good, informative and useful learning system.

Easy to follow and straight forward basic instruction.....Would like to see more video instruction

I thought Id be wasting my money but I was willing to try anything to learn guitar theory I feel that I lack creativity in writing music so this was the perfect fix for me

Superb

This is basically a book. There are a total of eight videos and they are very basic starter videos. So, know what you are getting which is a bunch if written text ("bunch" is generous). Also, the author promises to add lessons for favorable reviews so anyone who has already made the purchase commitment is presumably incentivized to err on being overly generous. Basically, there is much more comprehensive and thorough info available free on line than what is offered here.
